Wait for your turn
Follow the order of play and avoid announcing a decision before your turn. If you are unsure, ask the host. This helps everyone work with the same information.
Make yourself clear
Announce an action clearly and keep practice chips visible. Questions about procedure belong with the host. A calm question is more useful than a disagreement across the table.
Leave room for others
Do not comment on an unfinished hand you are not involved in. Avoid unsolicited advice and remarks about another person’s character. Save a detailed review for the end of the session, when people are ready to talk.
A break is part of the evening
Respect your own tiredness and another player’s choice to stop. A club session should remain voluntary. There is no need to continue because of a result or someone else’s expectations.
